Splash Devonport Swim School Program offers a range of levels that suit your child’s individual development and awareness in and around the water. Swimming is a lifesaving skill that is especially important along the North West Coast as we are surrounded by water, be it pools, beachers, rivers or dams. Our aim is to provide all families in the local community the opportunity to increase their personal swimming and water safety skills in order to lower the risk of drowning while enjoying our wonderful state.
Our classes start from 6 months of age and progress through to our own Splash Swim squad. The program is broken into 3 strands; infants, preschool and school aged. The infant classes (6 -36 months) aim to introduce infants and their parents to the water environment, teaching parents how to care for their infants in the water. Pre-school classes (3-5 year olds) encourage children to independently explore in the water along with developing their basic aquatic skills. Classes for school age children (5+ years) aim to develop stoke techniques and water safety skills.
We also have classes for adults that want to learn to swim and an adult swim squad that is perfect for those who want to improve their swimming fitness.
