Splash Devonport Swim School follows the Royal Life Saving Society Australia – Swim and Survive program. The structure of the program allows our students to focus on stroke development as well as water safety. Living along the North West coast we are surrounded by water, be it pools, beaches, rivers, dams or lakes. Our aim is to provide all families in the local community the opportunity to increase their personal swimming and water safety skills in order to lower the risk of drowning while enjoying our wonderful state.
The Swim and Survive program is broken into three strands, infant – Wonder, pre-school – Courage, school aged – Active. The Wonder strand caters for children aged 6-36 months with their parents and aims to introduce infants to water in a warm and caring atmosphere while teaching parents how to care for their child in aquatic environments. The Courage strand caters for 3-5 year olds and encourages independent exploration and development of student’s aquatic skills. The Active strand is for students aged 5+ years and develops stroke technique and water safety skills.
We also run adult lessons for beginners through to stroke correction
